Sara was living there at the time, and Amir lived there briefly for an international law school rotation.
Their eyes met from across the room
at a German party in an Irish bar over Superbowl weekend.
Amir asked Sara about the coatcheck
… and later shared that he lives in Berlin. Sara shared her plan to make an international career move… to Berlin!
It was verryyyyy serendipitous.
Amir headed back to Berlin and Sara prepared to relocate.
A few months later they met “halfway” in Iceland
…and decided to make things official.
They had a few more visits in New York and Berlin before Sara was offered a job, packed her bags and
she made the move to Berlin.
Deutschglish, meeting the families, career moves, weekend runs, travel, culture clashes, Deutschrap, lots of sushi, a pandemic, and many netflix show later…
They got married
in a German civil ceremony on September 30, 2021.
Amir & Sara are looking forward to continue their story and to
celebrate with family and friends
as they exchange vows on the beautiful island of Mallorca, Spain
